Welcome to the Dave Matheny State Farm Insurance office! For nearly three decades, my team and I have been proud to serve Carmi, along with Norris City, Grayville, and Mt Carmel, helping individuals and families prepare for what matters most. As a State Farm agent based in Carmi, I work closely with Illinois Good Neighbors and am also licensed to assist customers in Indiana. Our office focuses on providing friendly, personalized service and helping customers create coverage options that fit their needs, whether that includes Auto Insurance for everyday driving, Homeowners Insurance to help protect where you live, or Life Insurance to support the people who depend on you. We also offer Pet Insurance for those four-legged members of the family who mean so much. My connection to southern Illinois runs deep, and that local knowledge shapes how I serve the community. I graduated from Millikin University and hold both the ChFC® and CLU® designations, which reflect my long-standing commitment to this profession. Beyond the office, I stay actively involved in Carmi through service and leadership, including being a proud member and past board member of the Carmi Kiwanis Club and a member of the Carmi Chamber of Commerce. Supporting local organizations and charities is important to me, and I value opportunities to give back to the communities that have supported my team and me over the years.
